It's true. I am not a naturally organized person. In fact, it was a hard lesson for me, but one I'm very, very glad I learned. Being in control of your physical space and having a plan can make all the difference in feeling in control of your life.
In 1999, after many years in traditional business setting, I married into small family owned software company. I started out 'helping' with customer service for a sole proprietorship. Then I suggested a short cut. Then I revised a system. Then I made another suggestion. Now I'm the VP of Operations and handle everything but IT for our S-Corp.
I organized and streamlined myself out of most of my job. So I created myself a new one, teaching others how to get control of their stuff and their space, and how to build themselves good habits to keep that control.
I'm married to Mike and live in Colorado Springs with our 3 cats in our not always tidy but extremely organized home. In my spare time I make costumes and I've spent the last 20 years volunteering with the Society for Creative Anachronism.
